Chill Yeti Wishes

I have a lot of winter birthdays in my life. Two cards down! I love the pop of the pattern paper and how I was able to color the mug to match. Too cute! And, no surprise, the plaid stencil is still my favorite.

THD #8 Mid-Challenge Reminder

Doesn't this scene just give you the shivers? Crisp and cold and CUTE! I can't decide if my favorite part are the fairies peeking out from the greenery (whitery?), the embossed background or that strip of glitter beneath the sentiment. And let's now forget the Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents that I applied to add sparkle and shine. Love it all

I do hope you're inspired to join The Heart Desires challenge this month--amazing inspiration board this round!

YNS New Release Continues!

Another new release card for you using a 3-color dare! I concentrated on red, green, and aqua with brown as my neutral. Notice I masked and stacked the books from Silly Book Monsters and also masked the happy little worm from Get Your Fiction On to create my scene. I left the tail hanging off the card in the pic but in real life it is adhered to the back of the card for a fun touch. I love these sets--so very cute!

Be sure to leave a comment on the YNS blog for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

More Warm Wishes

I find coloring to be very calming. I need to concentrate (but not too much) as I choose colors, direction of light, layout, etc. Exactly the distraction I needed this weekend. I especially loved thinking about how the firelight would cast a warm glow and how that glow would affect the colors perceived by the eye. And the embossing gave amazing movement to the fire and rocks as well. Total happenstance.

I'm entering this in TIME OUT #74 Winter, HLS January 2017 Christmas Anything Goes, Tuesday Throwdown #324 Winter Critters, and Cards in Envy Snowbirds

YNS New Release Hop

Hi, Everyone! We are having a new release blog hop at Your Next Stamp and have fabulous inspiration, a prize, and a sale for you!

These sets are perfect to share love (and hopefully cookies!) with someone special. I used the adorable pup from YNS Ellie Loves to Bake, perching him on top of the Love die, with a sprinkling of hearts from Lovin' from the Oven. If you saw my card from yesterday using these same sets, you'll see that the previous card was a cute layered scene while this card is much more clean and simple. Love that versatility!

Want a chance to win a $25 YNS gift certificate? You know you do! Leave a comment here and on other blogs in the hop to increase your chance of winning. You don't need to comment on every blog in order to qualify.

In the meantime, check out the store and start your wishlist. Even if you don't win the certificate, you can take advantage of the 20% off sale using code Jan2017!

The Details:  YNS Ellie Loves to Bake, Lovin' from the Oven, and Love die, Pop Tone Sno Cone cardstock, Simon Says Stiched Whirl die, Waltzing Mouse Stitched Scalloped rectangle die, Copics

Indeed, You Sparkle!

My goodness, I had a time with this image. The wings are coated with a Wink of Stella marker that decided to vomit glitter everywhere.  This is my third attempt! Odd too as I've never had a problem before. Maybe I had a death grip on the barrel without realizing. In any, I love the results. Such a cute scene of a little angel sprinkling glittery stars over the winter landscape.

I'm entering this in Merry Monday #229 Angels, Fab N Funky #332 Little Girls, Simon Says Wednesday New Something (the YNS set and border die)

The Details:  YNS Snow Wonderful, PTI Sparkle & Shine, Recollections silver mirror board, Lawn Fawn Forest Border die, Hero Arts Star Confetti plate, Clear Wink of Stella, Copics, Scor-Tape, Stampendous Multi Crystal Glitter Mix
